It is an awarding-body endorsement of a course against QLS's published standards, usually following a paid review. That is a genuine third-party quality check, a tier above a private CPD logo. Do UK employers treat QLS and Ofqual as the same thing?
In regulated roles, no. The person spec names the statutory or framework requirement, and a private endorsement will not satisfy it. In unregulated roles, buyers weigh who taught you and whether work was marked more heavily than which logo appears.
