What do clients and employers actually ask for?
Private clients ask whether you diagnose, who trained you, and whether you carry insurance. Workplace buyers ask about scope and referral. Schools ask about QTS or the SENCO award if that is the job — and a coaching certificate will not satisfy those specs. Almost nobody asks which CPD body accredited an awareness PDF.
If you are choosing training, ask whether recordings are marked, whether diagnostic drift is a fail, and whether the certificate states you are not licensed to diagnose. A provider that cannot produce those answers is selling a list of timers.
Can an ADHD awareness diploma make you an ADHD coach?
It can improve understanding. It cannot give you assessed practice, a non-diagnostic contract, or a referral protocol. Awareness is a good buy for parents and support staff. It is the wrong buy if you intended to charge for coaching or to work as a SENCO. Those are different products with different duties.
