This topic is for people who will coach diagnosed adults, or adults on a clinical pathway, and who need training that can fail them for diagnostic drift. The verdict upfront: if the course never says you must not diagnose, it is not practitioner training.

No. Awareness diplomas are for understanding. Coaching training is for a contracted practice with a client. Neither diagnoses. Using an awareness PDF as a licence to coach, or to speak for a school, is the failure mode this market keeps repeating.
Awareness can still be a good buy for parents and support staff. It is the wrong buy if you intended to charge for ADHD coaching or to work as a SENCO.
Anyone who wanted to diagnose. Anyone whose job spec names QTS, the national SENCO award, or a clinical register. Anyone unwilling to refer. Anyone who needed child-and-adolescent work as a primary practitioner without the training that goes with those rooms and those duties.
Skip also if you wanted a psychiatry or clinical-psychology career. Coaching will not get you those posts. Skip an awareness diploma if you intended to charge for coaching: the products look similar in a marketplace and they are not. Adult ADHD coaching is a contracted practice with a client who already has a diagnosis, or who is on a pathway, and a written refusal to speculate. Anything else is a different job, usually a school or clinic job, and those have their own person specs. Read those specs before you buy a certificate that sounds adjacent.
