What does David Chen teach at The Study Guild?

David leads Hypnotherapy Practitioner Skills. He teaches live, observes induction and suggestion work, and marks recorded sessions plus a written safety case. A pass means assessed practice under supervision in the room. It does not mean eligibility for a PSA-accredited register, and the certificate will not say that it does.

What is David Chen's hypnotherapy background?

David holds a Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma and has run a private practice for fourteen years, alongside an ICF coaching credential. He is explicit about applications with reasonable evidence — some pain and IBS support — and about the long list of claims he will not teach because the evidence is not there.

Does David Chen's programme make you CNHC-registered?

No. CNHC registration requires training from an education provider that meets that register's rules. We are not claiming that status. If you need a checkable complementary-therapy register, start from the CNHC's own requirements and work backwards. Observed practice here is still a better buy than an unwatched diploma.
