He teaches the Guild's first-contact programme because marketplace diplomas still borrow Mental Health First Aid's name. He marks a first-contact protocol that can fail. He will tell you, in the first hour, that MHFA instructor status is licensed only by MHFA England, and that we do not sell it.

What is Ben Walker's workplace mental-health background?

Ben is a chartered occupational psychologist with thirteen years designing first-contact systems inside organisations. He is not an MHFA England instructor, on purpose: this programme must not borrow a licensed curriculum we are not authorised to deliver. First contact is a real skill. MHFA is a different, trademarked product.

Will Ben Walker's programme make you an MHFA instructor?

No. MHFA England states that it is the only organisation in England able to provide MHFA instructor training licensed by Mental Health First Aid International. A Guild cohort cannot be that programme. If instructor membership is the goal, apply to MHFA England. If you needed a first-contact protocol your organisation can defend, that is the product we actually sell.
