# Hypnotherapy register-pathway training

How a longer hypnotherapy course relates to CNHC eligibility, why the Guild is not an education provider for that register, and what a case log is for.

## What should a hypnotherapy register-pathway course include?

Observed practice, a supervised case log, consent and safety, and an honest map of the register you are not being signed onto. Hour counts copied from a core curriculum without education-provider status are theatre. If the provider cannot name which verifying organisation will accept the training, you are buying a longer PDF.

## Does a longer Guild hypnotherapy pass equal CNHC eligibility?

No. CNHC requires training that meets its core curriculum and National Occupational Standards, verified through published routes. The Guild does not claim that status. A sixteen-week case log is still a better buy than a weekend diploma. It is not the register. Read eligibility from CNHC, not from our brochure.

## Who should skip a non-eligible hypnotherapy pathway?

Anyone who needed CNHC eligibility this year. Anyone planning to treat trauma or psychosis with hypnosis. Anyone unwilling to be observed. Anyone who only wanted a personal-development weekend. The pathway is the right buy for a longer log. It is the wrong buy for a PSA-register stamp we do not hold.

CNHC's eligibility page is the source for hour counts, duration and the distance-learning rule. We will not invent a ruling that lets a Guild pass become eligibility. Read that page, then decide whether you needed an eligible school or a longer observed log with the limit printed.

## Common questions

**Does The Study Guild make you CNHC-eligible?**

No. We assess a longer case log and say so. Start from CNHC if the register is the goal.

**Is this the same as the skills programme?**

No. Skills is shorter observed practice. The pathway is longer, with a log, and still not eligibility.
