ADHD coach is not a protected title. Diagnosis is clinical. Assessed non-diagnostic practice is what informed clients actually check. ## Short answer No. ADHD coach is not a protected title, so no qualification is legally required to use it or charge. Diagnosis of ADHD is a clinical process. Training that skips that line is how coaches end up implying a diagnostic right they do not have. Assessed recordings and a written referral protocol are the commercial filter informed clients actually use. ## Is ADHD coaching regulated in the UK? No. There is no statutory register for ADHD coaches. Anyone may use the title. Diagnosis of ADHD sits in clinical pathways. School SEND roles and the designated SENCO award sit in education employment law. A coaching diploma creates neither a diagnostic right nor a classroom job, however the brochure is illustrated. It is the wrong buy if you intended to charge for coaching or to work as a SENCO. Those are different products with different duties. Then buy the product that matches. For adult coaching, ask who marks recordings and whether diagnosis is a fail.
